The Mirid source code is licensed under GNU AGPL-3.0. The complete licence text is included with the source repository. If this summary and the licence differ, the licence text controls.
What the licence permits
The AGPL gives you rights to run, study, share and modify the covered software. If you distribute a modified version, you must preserve the licence and provide corresponding source under its terms.
Mirid is provided without warranty, to the extent permitted by law. Read the full licence before redistributing or operating a modified public service.
Network use
The Affero clause matters when a modified version is used to provide a service over a network. In that case, users interacting with it must be offered the corresponding source as the licence requires.
Third-party components
The desktop package and downloadable runtime include open-source libraries, engines and native components developed by other projects. Their notices and licences remain applicable. Model weights, voices and other optional downloads may have separate terms set by their authors.
A model appearing in Mirid’s library is not a grant of rights to use it. Check the model repository before downloading or publishing its output.
Your content
Mirid does not claim ownership of the prompts, characters, conversations or files you create. Your rights and responsibilities can still be affected by source material, model licences and the terms of any hosted provider you choose.
